Nothing is there when you are not,
Nothing is cold when all is hot.
Nothing is there when Everyone's here,
Nothing is is brave when all is fear.
No one sees Nothing 'cause Nothing is Nothing,
Nothing is healthy when Everything's suffering.
Nothing is there when Everything's gone,
Everything's short when Nothing is long.
Nothing has something except when there's many things,
Nothing is anything except for anything.

I am Eating Chips Right Now

I am eating chips right now, and I don't know what to say.
I'm sitting at the computer, though I'd rather go and play.
I have homework for my soccer that mom needs to know about,
And I wish I could be done with this so I could go on out.
My dog just licked my eyeball and I ate a bad burnt chip,
And I wish we had a fridge up here so I could get some dip.
I'm so sick of typing that I say I'm finally done.
Now I am going outside so I could have some REAL fun!

Pun Fun and a Simile

The radish beets the carrot in a long marathon,
And the celery stalks his prey upon the moonlit pond.
The lion told a tail of himself living on  Mane Street,
And the radish in the marathon, the carrot he did beet.

Viking Ship

Hi there! It's Audrie's mom. I've hijacked her blog while she is away for the week. I just had to share her latest creation she made in her Warriors class. Last week, they learned about vikings and created tissue box ships. As soon as I saw Audrie's ship, I gushed [like any good mom does], but, really, I was quite impressed with her creation. [gushing] Here is her tissue box viking ship, complete with miniature viking:
